Hands-On CPR Classes for Cary
Get CPR, AED, First Aid, or BLS certified near Cary in a live class taught by a working firefighter and EMT. Classes run $60 to $90 per person depending on the course, held a short drive away in New Hill and Apex, or brought to your Cary workplace with no travel fee.
Cary sits between Apex and Raleigh, so both class locations are close. Open group classes are held at the New Hill Community Center, about a 20-minute drive down US-1 from most of Cary. Private classes for you or a small group run out of Nate's training space in the Bella Casa neighborhood in Apex, roughly 15 minutes away.
For Cary offices, dental and medical practices, gyms, and daycares, Nate brings the manikins and AED trainers to you, with no travel fee since Cary neighbors Apex. Cary has a deep base of corporate, tech, and healthcare employers, and most of them need staff carrying a current card.
Cary also fills its calendar with public gatherings - downtown festivals like Lazy Daze, concerts, and steady weekend traffic on the greenways and at Bond Park. Those spots keep AEDs on hand and first responders are close, but survival depends on a bystander starting compressions in the first few minutes. That is what these classes drill.
Every class is hands-on, follows American Heart Association guidelines, and ends with an AHA card good for two years and accepted by employers and licensing boards. It works for first-timers and renewals - parents, teachers, coaches, trainers, lifeguards, and new nurses - and you earn the card the same day you pass the skills check.
Choose the certification that fits you, then pick an open group class, a private session, or an on-site group.
Nate is a U.S. Army veteran and a career North Carolina Master Firefighter/EMT certified since 2016. He's run cardiac arrest calls and used CPR to bring someone back, and he's been on the call where a bystander froze because no one had ever taught them what to do. That's why he teaches, and why every class is hands-on.
You'll practice with someone who has used these skills when a life was on the line, and who won't let you leave until your compressions are right.
Book a class that fits your schedule, or call Nate and he'll help you pick the right one.
