Hands-On CPR Classes in Apex
Get CPR, AED, First Aid, or BLS certified in Apex in a live class taught by a working firefighter and EMT who lives and teaches right here. Classes run $60 to $90 per person depending on the course, with no travel fee for on-site groups in Apex.
Apex is home base. Private classes for you or a small group run out of Nate's training space in the Bella Casa neighborhood, so for most of Apex it is the shortest trip of any option. Open group classes are a short drive out to the New Hill Community Center on US-1.
Apex is a young-family town with heavy rec-sports turnout at Pleasant Park, Apex Community Park, and Hunter Street Park near downtown. That is a lot of coaches, parents, referees, and park staff who should know CPR. For offices, daycares, gyms, and teams, Nate brings the manikins and AED trainers to you, and there is no travel fee inside Apex.
Those parks and most public buildings around Apex keep AEDs on hand, and first responders are close. Survival still comes down to the first few minutes - a bystander starting compressions and getting the AED on before the ambulance arrives. That is the exact window these classes train you for.
Every class is hands-on, follows American Heart Association guidelines, and ends with an AHA card that is good for two years and accepted by employers, schools, and healthcare programs. You earn it the same day you pass the skills check, taught by a career firefighter and EMT who has run real cardiac calls around Wake County.
Choose the certification that fits you, then pick an open group class, a private session, or an on-site group.
Nate is a U.S. Army veteran and a career North Carolina Master Firefighter/EMT certified since 2016. He's run cardiac arrest calls and used CPR to bring someone back, and he's been on the call where a bystander froze because no one had ever taught them what to do. That's why he teaches, and why every class is hands-on.
You'll practice with someone who has used these skills when a life was on the line, and who won't let you leave until your compressions are right.
Book a class that fits your schedule, or call Nate and he'll help you pick the right one.
